Collarini Corporation Appoints Volker Rathmann Vice President Business Development

HOUSTON, TX, June 1, 2002 – Chairman Cheryl Collarini announced today the appointment of Volker Rathmann to Vice President of Business Development.  “With his experience and background in managing globally oriented firms, Volker is a great addition to our team," said Cheryl Collarini.  “His background in helping companies to grow will prove very useful as we are looking to expand our business in this changing environment.”

            Prior to joining Collarini, Rathmann was Chief Financial Officer for INTEC Engineering, a provider of specialized engineering services in global frontier and deepwater projects.  Before INTEC, Rathmann held various positions in operations, marketing, and finance within the DaimlerChrysler Corporation, a multi national automotive and industrial concern, both in the U.S. and Germany. 

            Founded in New Orleans in 1985, Collarini opened its Houston offices in 1997.  The companies currently employ 30 people.  Through Collarini Engineering and Collarini Energy Staffing, it provides expert oil and gas reservoir advice, staffing, and engineering services to successful E&P companies.  The company has offices in Houston and New Orleans.
