Reservoir engineer needed for a 2 month assignment in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience biased towards reservoir simulation. The candidate will also have experience troubleshooting software. Excellent customer relation skills with end user community. The candidate will recommend solutions to problems related to software or computer systems, and may interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications for applications, data and systems support to the client’s Reservoir Engineering and Well Performance Team. The team also provides user and project support for geological, geophysical and visualization products for Landmark applications. Knowledge and experience of the support and use of Reservoir Simulation packages, especially Schlumberger’s Eclipse suite. Good UNIX/LINUX skills with experience of shell scripting/programming and systems administration. Ph.D. in Engineering preferred. Senior managing engineer needed for a full-time position in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a MS or PhD in Science or Engineering. This consultant will be expected to build client relationships, attract significant project revenue on an annual basis from the oil and gas sectors, build and manage a team of scientists and engineers, and provide consulting services within the Energy sector. Operations engineer needed for a full time opportunity with an exploration company in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s of science degree in petroleum engineering and five to twenty years of industry experience. Responsibilities include working closely with land and geology groups, on site supervision and contract negotiations. Additional responsibilities include reviewing drilling, workover and completion proposals as well as working with operation technicians and drilling superintendent to accomplish rig supervision and inspections, bidding, invoice approval, daily reports and safety program implementation.
