As a team leader for a field study of a developed offshore field in Azerbaijan, utilized existing field data from multiple sources and integrated the data that culminated in a complete re-evaluation of the field using western technology to institute field redevelopment. Recommended over 100 workovers and recompletions, redesigned a waterflood for effective sweep and pressure maintenance, proposed additional platforms to develop added reserves, and proposed capturing 150 MMCFPD vented gas offshore for delivery to an onshore plant for local use. Received an award of participation interest in the largest oil development project in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea and an additional interest in the first exploration block awarded. |
