Experience:

Reservoir engineer with 22 years of experience with a major oil company. Extensively experienced in reserve determination, economic analysis, prospect evaluation, nodal analysis, and horizontal well applications. Experienced also in natural gas contracts, gas supply, and gas processing. Gulf of Mexico expert. Computer skills include Crystal Ball, OGRE, Production Analyst, Dwight’s, MBal, Prosper, GAP, Saphir, and Microsoft Office.

Served as the reservoir engineer for shelf fields in the Gulf of Mexico. Responsibilities included improving field value, including evaluating exploitation prospects using probabilistic methods for reserve estimation and economics. Coordinated team input. Applied integrated production modeling in a Green Canyon field to reduce a facility expansion and in a new project evaluation to aid in scoping facilities.

Analyzed the economics of development wells, prepared development plans, and managed an offshore portfolio. Assisted in depletion planning by incorporating team results into economic valuation models. Seven fields were evaluated, and development opportunities scoped. Provided business support for 11 development wells and one subsea zone change investing over $60MM.

Assessed reservoir performance and evaluated new geologic prospects. Booked reserves and planned business activities. Evaluated development drilling in five fields. One well recommended to accelerate production tested 73 MMCFPD. Was part of the team that drilled the first company horizontal well which produced 25 MMCFPD from a shallow gas reservoir.

Worked supply issues for the gas-marketing group. Coordinated new connections and initial deliveries for offshore developments. Provided technical oversight to collect production-related costs allowed under NGPA Section 110. Reviewed contract and field data to determine eligible costs for delivery, compression, and dehydration.

Evaluated capital projects and prospective OCS leases, provided business plan input, and prepared reserve bookings. Evaluated drilling on non-operated properties.

Served as a plant process engineer. Managed small capital projects and conducted plant surveillance. Provided start-up support at a cryogenic gas plant.
