Experience:

Registered petroleum engineer with 32 years of experience in domestic operations in reservoir, production, and drilling projects. Experienced in reserve estimation, field studies, portfolio and project economics, field development, waterflood installation and operations, production logging, and operations supervision. Very capable in production optimization and opportunity enhancement recognition. Expert in cashflow evaluation and assessment of properties for acquisition. Primary geographic areas include the Permian Basin and the mid-continent. Additional areas worked include the Rocky Mountains, onshore Texas Gulf Coast, and south Texas. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lotus 1-2-3. Skilled in the use of ARIES DOS, and PHDWin economics. Familiar with ARIES and OGRE.

Managed the operations and evaluation for an independent oil company. Was responsible for acquisition assessment and presentation to the Board of Directors. Achieved a seven-fold increase in proven reserves through acquisition and subsequent enhancements. Planned and executed all drilling and workovers, and supervised operations of more than 500 wells.

Functioned as a diversified engineering consultant for two years. Prepared approximately 50 reserve studies and audits for small companies, and managed the drilling of numerous wells.

Directed an eight-person staff that was heavily involved in field development in the mid-continent. Was responsible for budgeting, assessment of drilling proposals, annual reserve audits, direction of engineering studies, evaluation of capital expenditure results, and monitoring of well performance.

Was responsible for supervising and training less experienced engineers. Assisted in special field studies, drilling programs, budget planning, design of completion procedures, coordinating regulatory agency hearings, secondary recovery planning, and equipment design. Initiated and assisted in the drilling of more than 100 wells during an 18-month period.
