Petroleum engineer with over 30 years of domestic and international experience in reservoir, production, project management, and drilling and workover projects. An accomplished reservoir engineer in estimation, evaluation, and performance prediction. Experienced in reserve estimation, field studies, portfolio and project economics, field development, artificial lift design and operations (all types), and production log analysis. Geographic areas worked include south Louisiana, the Gulf of Mexico, the Rocky Mountains, southern California, and southeast Asia. Proficient in various computer programs including Microsoft Office, Lotus 1-2-3, and ARIES. Proficient in French and Indonesian.

   

 

 

 

Was a production manager in charge of fields in south Louisiana, inland waters, and southern California. Set budgets, and oversaw drilling, workover, recompletion, and production activities. Hired and trained staff.

   
 

As a project manager for southeast Asia, developed and implemented plans to bring remote discoveries on stream. Worked with various governmental agencies and industry partners to obtain project approval. Put together a team to accomplish the facilities, pipeline, and tanker operations to place the areas on production. A $60 million project was brought on production on time and within budget.

   
 

As an offshore division production engineer, was successful as a low cost operator, and rated #1 in class by McKinsey and Associates. Audited the company’s west coast division to reduce their costs to be in line with their peer group.
