Resume of P83

Education:

B. S., Mechanical Engineering, Texas A&M University

Experience:

Registered production engineer with 25 years of diversified experience in the oil and gas industry with a major oil company and an independent. Experienced in completions and recompletions, workovers, production facility design, production optimization, economic evaluation, and budget preparation. Extensively experienced on-site, supervising all stages of completion. Areas worked include the Gulf coast, onshore and offshore, east and south Texas, north Louisiana, and Ohio. Skilled in Microsoft Office, OGRE, Dwights, and various other PC based programs.

Was responsible for production activities. Engineered completions and recompletions for new and existing wells. Designed and optimized frac jobs both in the office and at the job site. Designed and implemented over 150 massive hydraulic fracturing jobs in the Cotton Valley Lime, Cotton Valley Sand, Travis Peak, and Wilcox Sands. Reduced hydraulic fracturing costs $300,000 for 10 wells by reducing pad volume and gel loading. Initiated the first low sand frac (waterfrac) in the Cotton Valley Lime reservoir resulting in savings of $85,000 per well. Designed and implemented frac packs and gravel packs. Designed and oversaw the construction of new facilities. Provided extensive on-site supervision of wells in all stages of completion.

Supervised four production engineers and one engineering technician. Provided direction and technical support for: new completion procedures, workover candidate selection and procedures, field optimization studies, improved production facilities, and enhanced teamwork. Was responsible for both capital and expense budgets.

Was responsible for production activities along the Gulf Coast onshore and offshore, and in Louisiana and Texas, including all new completions, workovers, gas gathering systems, and general production activities, including budgets. Provided extensive on-site supervision of wells in all stages of completion.

Performed reservoir-engineering duties in the Gulf coast area. Modeled a waterflood field in Texas using the BOSS simulator. Recommended running TDT logs to delineate a gas-oil contact in a 5,500-foot reservoir to enhance recompletions.

Designed completions and recompletions for wells in the Gulf coast. Supervised open-hole logging, and selected cores to be taken. Recommended use of two strings of a quadruplet to improve depletion of a waterflood uniformly and efficiently. Designed different rod designs for various pumping wells. Provided economic evaluation on all projects.
