Education:

M.S., Columbia University, New York

B.A., Physics, Hendrix College, Arkansas

Experience:

Geophysicist with 23 years of international and domestic exploration and production experience with a major oil company.  Skilled in 2-D, 3-D, and volume seismic interpretation. Extensively experienced working with multidisciplinary teams on development evaluations, seismic data processing quality control, and prospect generation.  Proficient in mud logging, open-hole formation evaluation, and drilling operations.  Geographic areas worked include south Texas, the Gulf of Mexico, Angola, and offshore eastern Canada.  Proficient in Microsoft Office, Geo-Frame, Stratworks, and other Landmark applications.

Recently evaluated a 3-D survey in south Texas that resulted in six successful development wells.  Generated an additional five well program to test the oldest and deepest reservoirs in a previously untested field area.  Managed a seismic data processing QC during acquisition of a 315 square mile 3-D seismic survey, which resulted in improved deep imaging, quality AVO volumes, and production of 20 prospects.

Interpreted the geophysical and geological data necessary to drill a deepwater channel-levee concept in southern Angola.  Integrated data, analyzed seismic attributes, and drilled discovery wells necessary to sanction production facilities for a deepwater Gulf of Mexico drilling program.  Evaluated competitor farm-in opportunities, which resulted in a recommendation to participate in two more successful wells.

As part of an asset management team, helped in drilling 21 exploration and production wells on the offshore Louisiana shelf.  Incorporated geology and geophysics to generate prospects and evaluate acreage for five multi-well drilling programs, which resulted in a 250% increase in daily production.  Developed horizontal well expertise by proposing, executing, and evaluating six horizontal wells.

Generated a regional seismic stratigraphic study offshore Texas over a 600 square mile area projecting deepwater sands forty miles basinward which provided the framework for successful bids on eight OCS blocks.

Explored the Grand Banks of Canada. Evaluated numerous prospects and basins that resulted in drilling two prospects, eliminating three development wells, and planning extensive logging operations.
