Geoscientist with over 20 years of diversified experience in international exploration, development, and new ventures geology and geophysics. Capable team player and excellent communicator. Extensively experienced as an economics driven and risk minded proven oil and gas finder who is a strong advocate and user of state of the art geological and geophysical techniques. Geographic experience includes north Africa, South America, and the North Sea. Expert computer skills including the SMT Kingdom, Landmark, and GeoQuest workstations.

Evaluated more than 50 blocks in Algeria and Tunisia leading to the award of three blocks and an onshore Tunisia commercial oil discovery. Participated in two commercial gas condensate discoveries in the North Sea, and evaluated acreage offered in several U.K. North Sea bid rounds that led to the award of two offshore blocks. Evaluated all onshore and offshore blocks in the four Brazil bid rounds plus acreage that led to the award of two onshore blocks in Venezuela. Studied numerous new venture opportunities in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, the Malvinas Islands, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, the Cote D’Ivoire, Gabon, Madagascar, Syria, the U.K., Russia, Vietnam, China, and Australia.

As a development geophysicist in the U.K. North Sea, the Celtic Sea, and onshore northern Tunisia, successfully identified by-passed pay, untested fault compartments, and new reservoir targets that resulted in increased production rates in mature oil fields.

Participated in the construction, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, the economic evaluation and risk analysis of prospects and projects, and the ranking of the corporate portfolio. Presented prospect and project results to middle and upper level management, joint venture partners, farm-in candidates, and to representatives of foreign national oil companies and governmental regulatory agencies. Lived overseas for ten years, developing a keen awareness of and sensitivity to cultural differences.
