Geophysicist with 30 years of exploration and exploitation experience with large international companies. Highly skilled in analysis of 2-D and 3-D seismic data and use of AVO. Expert in interpretation and mapping of sub-salt exploration plays using depth imaging and seismic sequence stratigraphy. Highly experienced in prospect generation, data acquisition, and data processing. High level of experience in supervision and management of geoscientists. Geographic areas worked include Permian Basin, Anadarko, Appalachian, Powder River, Wyoming Overthrust, Black Warrior, Texas Gulf Coast, Louisiana, Alabama, and both shelf and deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Computer skills include working knowledge of Landmark, Geoquest, SMT, Geographix, ZMAP, and Microsoft office. Fluent in Spanish.

Geophysical advisor responsible for Gulf of Mexico Deepwater. Mapped six sub-salt leads in Walker Ridge. Interpreted 2000 miles of GXT depth-imaged 2-D seismic. Arranged for joint seismic expenditure for deepwater unit to acquire critical data. Reviewed all Gulf of Mexico prospects.

Assisted in the initiation of deepwater exploration process by mapping sand fairways, utilizing seismic sequence stratigraphy technology, using recon 2-D data and rock properties, and AVO. Supervised staff of eight geophysicists. Increased 3-D seismic coverage. Contributed to the mapping, assessment, evaluation and drilling of deepwater prospects. Interpreted 3-D poststack depth migration.

Mapped Gulf of Mexico fields for exploitation interest. Mapped regional 2-D seismic in support of the exploitation of producing fields. Mapped, reviewed, and recommended sale prospects.

Assisted in prospect generation and supervised seven geophysicists. Exploration in the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana resulted in the generation of 33 prospects.

Manager mid-continent/central areas. Preliminarily mapped and generated 15 deep Rio Vista Field leads utilizing sparse 2-D seismic. Managed 20 geoscientists whose primary exploration functions were in the Permian Basin, Midland Basin and Sacramento Basins.

Regionally mapped overthrust structures in the Arkoma Basin. Discovered Devonian field below prolific San Andreas producing unit.
