Resume of GP193

Education:

B.S., Geology, University of Stockholm

M.S., Petroleum Exploration, Chalmers University of Technology

Experience:

Exploration geophysicist with 15 years of experience working for major oil companies, service companies, and as a consultant. Experienced in seismic interpretation and processing, regional studies, velocity modeling, structural mapping, log analysis, and well-site operations. Also experienced in prospect generation, including reserve calculations, subsurface mapping, log evaluation, and geologic correlation. Highly skilled in 3-D coherence processing of Gulf of Mexico data. Geographic areas worked include California, Colombia, Norway, and Siberia. Computer skills include Landmark, Charisma, and GeoQuest.

Applied coherence operators to final migrated 3-D surveys to determine the best operator and window for each individual survey target. Modeled the velocity for depth migration using the Omega processing system. Processed 2-D data from California, Texas, Oman, Ecuador, Hungary, and offshore Ireland. As the well-site geologist, supervised reservoir coring in the Timan Pechora Basin.

Developed regional studies for the 9th and 14th Norwegian licensing rounds, including seismic interpretation and geologic and geophysical studies. Generated prospects and evaluated reservoirs. Provided seismic information for basin modeling purposes. Utilized the IRAP contouring system for reservoir delineation and reserve calculations.

Evaluated seismic data from western Siberia. Led IRAP gridding manipulations for permafrost corrections and reserve calculations.

As a consultant in California, performed quality control at the well site for velocity check-shots and VSPs. Coordinated electric logging operations in mature producing fields. Served as liaison with service companies, performed quality control, correlated electric logs, and communicated between office and field personnel regarding well completion details.

Facilitated testing parameters, sequences, and processing for onshore seismic from Poland and offshore China. Activities included demultiplexing, geometry, deconvolution, static, velocity analysis, stacks, and migration.

Developed regional studies in Colombia including seismic interpretation and creation of time-structure maps. Proposed two successful prospects that resulted in two oil fields.
