Experience: Petroleum geologist with over 20 years of international and domestic geophysical and geological experience with major and foreign state oil companies and as a consultant. Special expertise in seismic interpretation and the integration of geological and geophysical data for exploration and reservoir characterization studies. Proficient in the use of geoscience computer systems, including mainframe and workstation-based 2-D and 3-D seismic data interpretation. Experienced in survey planning, acquisitions, processing quality control, and interpretation of onshore and offshore 2-D and 3-D seismic data. Capable of basin and trend analysis, structural and stratigraphic analysis, and economic and risk analysis. Substantial supervisory and managerial experience. Regions worked include onshore and offshore Gulf of Mexico, U.S. mid-continent, Appalachians, California, Arabian Gulf, west and north Africa, and Venezuela. Conducted 2-D and 3-D based prospect and field evaluations in the U.S. mid-continent and Gulf of Mexico. Conducted strategic exploration, production analysis, and field development studies for Arabian Gulf and North African fields. Conducted onshore and offshore 2-D and 3-D exploratory seismic studies including interpretation, prospect delineation, acquisition planning, and reprocessing planning for the Arabian Gulf, west Africa, and north Africa. Integrated geologic and geophysical exploration interpretations in Venezuela. Mapped reservoirs in the Elk Hills Naval Petroleum reserve for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Planned and implemented wellbore VSP and coring campaigns. Planned, contracted, and supervised the acquisition of onshore and offshore 2-D and 3-D seismic surveys in the Middle East. Supervised the processing and reprocessing of data. Interpreted land, transition zone, and marine 2-D and 3-D seismic data sets manually as well as on ConSeis and Landmark workstations. Planned, conducted, and supervised detailed geological modeling and volumetrics for reservoir simulation, including comprehensive mapping on the Zycor system.

Conducted seismic interpretation projects, seismic modeling studies, and geochemical exploration for stratigraphic traps. Conducted stratigraphic and structural studies. Reviewed externally generated exploratory ventures. Acted as divisional exploration operations manager, supervising company geologists.
