integration of cuttings, cores, and well logs with 2-D and 3-D seismic datasets.
Experienced in working with and managing multidisciplinary teams on field and
regional studies, development evaluations, and prospect screening. Geographic areas worked include most of
the U.S. mid-continent, the Permian Basin, Gulf coast onshore, Gulf of Mexico

Functioned as the team geologist in
technical and economic evaluations and reserve validation studies in the
deepwater Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, and Venezuela resulting in major
acquisitions by some clients, and declined deals by others. Generated
numerous leads, and drillable exploration and delineation locations in
Mexico, Venezuela, the Permian Basin, Texas shelf, and offshore Brazil. |

As
a lead geologist and technical manager of a one-year, $300,000 regional
study, mapped deep-water sand distribution of the Miocene section of the
western Gulf of Mexico allowing product licensees to use the resulting
product to guide exploration and leasing efforts. |

As
a project manager, lead geologist, and prospector for a regional study in New
Mexico, completed a stratigraphic interpretation from the basement to the
surface and generated over 20 exploration leads and 14 drillable prospects,
resulting in a new structural model. |

As
a project geologist, applied innovative rock fabric analysis to porosity and
permeability transforms to improve well zonations and the definition of flow
units. Applied these techniques to the San Andres formation dolomites in the
Permian Basin and the Cretaceous carbonates in Tabasco State, Mexico. As the
stratigrapher and sedimentologist on a project team that performed a regional
play analysis of the Gilmer Limestone (aka Cotton Valley Lime), helped
present 32 gas and six oil prospects to management. |
