Experience:

Geoscientist with 23 years of domestic exploration and production experience with a major oil company.  Skilled in 2-D and 3-D interpretation.  Extensive experience working on exploratory prospects, field studies, development evaluations, acquisition analysis, and prospect screening.  Proficient in mud logging, open-hole and cased-hole log analysis.  Geographic areas worked include the Appalachians, Alabama, Florida, the Williston Basin, the Permian Basin, the Green River Basin, the Wind River Basin, the Powder River Basin, the Gulf of Mexico shelf, Gulf of Mexico deep water, south Louisiana, and the DJ Basin.  Proficient in Microsoft Office and Geoquest.

Technically evaluated and quantified the reserve potential of the South Pass Block 60 Field on the Gulf of Mexico shelf.  Generated numerous drillable development, extension, and exploration wells. Evaluated Gulf of Mexico deepwater blocks for MMS lease sales.  Constructed a regional sand depositional model to identify prospective areas.  As the lead well-site geologist for a deepwater drilling well, developed a pore pressure profile and aided in shallow water hazard identification and casing point predictions.

Evaluated numerous wildcat and extension well opportunities in south Louisiana. As a member of a large multi-disciplinary technical team, helped evaluate, quantify, risk, and rank the overall potential of an oil and gas company for acquisition.  Initiated a regional geologic study to identify onshore south Louisiana Miocene trends and extend this trend to the deep Gulf of Mexico shelf.

Evaluated and quantified the reserve potential of a trend along the Moxa Arch in the Green River 7/15/2005 Basin and a trend in the Wind River Basin, resulting in the acquisition of a very large acreage position that is still under production.

Evaluated the technical and economic merits of more than 150 exploration opportunities throughout Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and the Gulf of Mexico shelf and deepwater.  Ran economic scenarios, performed pre-drill and post-drill analysis, and quantified and booked reserves.  Evaluated producing properties as acquisition candidates.
