Experience:

Geologist with over 12 years of exploration and development experience with a major oil company. Experienced working individually and as part of multidiscipline teams integrating geology, 3-D seismic, and engineering data for field studies, development projects, acquisitions, and divestitures. Comfortable with carbonate and sandstone formations, oil and gas reservoirs, and primary and tertiary recovery in a variety of fields. Skilled in risk and reserve assessment, fault seal analysis, 3-D seismic interpretation, and well planning and execution. Geographic experience includes the Gulf of Mexico, the Permian Basin, the Rocky Mountains, and the mid-continent area. Workstation and PC experience includes Landmark StratWorks, SeisWorks, Z-map+, Geographix, and SMT Kingdom products.

Evaluated the exploration potential of the Frio and Miocene trends in south Louisiana. Generated and screened prospects, correlated regional logs, created structure and sand maps, performed fault seal analysis, and conducted risk and reserve assessment.

As project leader for the exploitation of two onshore Gulf coast fields, integrating geologic, 3-D seismic, and reservoir data to identify and develop by-passed reserves. Generated and drilled two prospects, identified and performed five idle well recompletions, and aided in the farm-out of two projects. Provided support for a multi-field acquisition package.

Participated in three Gulf of Mexico integrated field studies. Performed 3-D seismic interpretation and horizon depth conversion. Created amplitude, net sand, and net pay maps along with fault seal analysis, resulting in the production optimization of two offshore fields, identification of three workovers, and generation of three exploration leads.

Conducted a reservoir characterization and development study of a Devonian CO₂ flood and a Silurian waterflood in west Texas. Identified and drilled 17 in-fill wells, 24 CO₂ injector conversions, six producer re-activations, and 30 remedial workovers. Recommended and implemented remedial water shut off and injection well realignment.
