Geologist with 20 years of international and domestic experience generating, evaluating, and presenting prospects and projects. Able to conduct outstanding sales presentations, and negotiate to build consensus. An expert in client and customer support for geological data management, carbonate petrology, and depositional/diagenetic environments. Trained in Oracle database administration, SQL PL/SQL, RDBMS, and various applications in the OpenWorks environment. Proficient in UNIX, Landmark, StratWorks and geological data management. Fluent in Russian and Spanish.

Created and managed a UNIX/Landmark based project to control the flow of real-time data for the operations group. Trained new users of this project, focusing on StratWorks applications. Supported E&Ps development of leads and prospects, using various OpenWorks applications and utilities.

Evaluated the oil and gas potential of the Trans-Caucasus region, from the Caspian Sea to the Black Sea. The appraisal included the structure, stratigraphy, economics, and logistics of the area.

Evaluated the geology and economics of oil and gas fields in the Ordos basin and the Gulf of Bohai for private investors.

Created a working group that brought together a 3-D seismic company, a south Texas mineral owner, and an operator to fund, shoot, and drill prospects over 100,000 acres in several counties. Discovered Rough Ride Field in Fisher County, Texas. Prospected the Subthrust Ellenburger Formation of central Texas. Mapped and caused to be drilled eight wells in Duval County, Texas. Participated in the development of a Wilcox field in McMullen County, Texas.

Carried out applied carbonate research projects for the U.S. and international operational divisions. Specialized in carbonate petrology, using thin section analysis. Generated and drilled San Andres and Delaware Mountain Group prospects. Prospected the Ouachita Thrust Zone of the Marathon area, and recommended two areas to be drilled, resulting in two new field discoveries. Served as an in-house consultant on geochemical and other unconventional exploration techniques.
