Experience:

Registered geologist with 24 years of experience exploring and delineating oil and gas for independents and as a consultant. Proven asset builder and asset manager in network workstation environments. Experienced in start-up, development, and growth of a division office, which generated over $75 million in gross revenues. Experienced in all facets of exploration and development. Geographic areas worked include the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Computer skills include Landmark, Kingdom, GeoQuest, and MSOffice.

Evaluated fields for acquisition and development. Performed detailed sequence stratigraphy including overbank, slope, fan, lobe, channel fill, and fringe type differentiation. Understood faulting in order to locate undrained areas. Examined large production databases to locate areas of potential undrained pay, resulting in several prospects. Used cube volumes, coherency and continuity slices, amplitude attributes, animation files, and time and horizon slices to identify exploration areas and understand facies and structure. Generated successful exploitation prospects in the Arkansas-Louisiana-Texas Region.

Directed large projects involving soil, air and groundwater contamination assessments; detection monitoring; on-site landfill/impoundment siting, characterization and design; risk-based assessments; and remediation feasibility evaluations and implementation. Managed compliance processes involving RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Air Act, and issues from other regulatory programs. Supervised a staff of 15 professionals involved in private, state and municipal projects producing $2 million in annual consulting revenues. Generated exploration and development opportunities and drilled a number of successful wells. Generated exploitation opportunities that led to several discoveries. Completed field studies using 2-D seismic and subsurface data, which led to the addition of proved reserves. Screened submittals, purchased all key data sets required for prospect generation, and trained staff geologists. Led multi-companies in 2-D group shoot. Incorporated gravity and magnetic regional trend data into 2-D seismic and subsurface data, leading to two field discoveries.
