Production and exploration geologist with 22 years of experience with a major and several independent oil companies and as a consultant. Experienced in well-site log evaluation, prospect evaluation, field studies, economic evaluation, formation evaluation, and analyzing reservoir performance. Geographic areas worked include the Gulf coast, the Permian Basin, mid-continent, Texas, and the Rocky Mountains. Computer skills include Microsoft Office and Landmark workstation.

Generated prospects in the Permian Basin. Evaluated properties offshore Louisiana to exploit behind pipe reservoirs and explore for deep sands around the flanks of a salt diapir using 3-D seismic data and Landmark workstations.

Evaluated properties in Texas and New Mexico to determine behind pipe and deeper objectives in the Holt, Glorieta, Wolfcamp, Cisco, Strawn, Atoka, Morrow, Devonian, Fusselman, and Ellenburger formations. One recompletion and five new wells were successful.

Reviewed prospects in the Green River basin. Generated prospects in the Red Fork, Morrow, Misener, and Britt plays in Oklahoma and in the Strawn, Atoka, Morrow, and Devonian plays in New Mexico. Worked with geophysicists to evaluate 3-D seismic using GeoQuest workstations. Over 20 commercial wells resulted.

Was responsible for generating prospects, evaluating outside prospects, well-site work, and maintaining current properties in Oklahoma and Texas. Most trends were evaluated with 2-D seismic data. Four discoveries resulted, one of which was a large new field.

Generated prospects in the Morrow in eastern Colorado and western Kansas. Directed field surveys using the Petro-Sonde instrument. Consulted at the well site, and marketed prospects. Worked closely with geophysical consultants in evaluating 2-D seismic data.

Generated exploration projects in the Anadarko basin and Hugoton embayment in Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, and the Texas Upper Gulf coast. Was responsible for marketing all projects. Principal plays included Marmaton, Morrow, Yegua, and Wilcox. Utilized 2-D seismic data in prospect generation and evaluation. Three discoveries resulted.

Generated and evaluated prospects in the Powder River Basin, Denver-Julesburg Basin, Green River Basin, Piceance Basin, Williston Basin, and the Rocky Mountain Overthrust.
