Experience: Geologist with 25 years of experience working with major and independent oil companies. Highly skilled in generating prospects, defining drill locations, analyzing logs, evaluating reservoirs, and conducting field studies. Proficient in 2-D and 3-D seismic interpretation. Geographic areas worked include Texas, Louisiana, the Rocky Mountains, west Africa, and Egypt. Proficient in UNIX, Geoquest, Landmark, Geographix, Arcview, Automap, Canvas, Corel, MS Office, and Lotus 1-2-3.

Was responsible for exploration and joint venture development offshore activity in west Africa. Evaluated several concessions in the Gulf of Suez and Egypt. Integrated subsurface and seismic data to synthesize a regional setting and develop prospects. Was the primary geologist/geophysicist for exploration, evaluation, drilling, and re-development of 45 fields in 14 states. Supervised up to five geologists, three geophysicists, and four engineers for property acquisition and disposition. Led exploration efforts offshore Louisiana, and built an inventory of 50 leases, 42 of which were operated. As offshore Louisiana team leader, recommended 47 wells offshore Gulf of Mexico, of which 24 were completed.

Supervised a geologist/geophysicist team to generate and drill prospects offshore Gulf of Mexico, including Mobile Bay. Supervised five geologists, three geophysicists, and support staff. Built an inventory of 38 operated and 33 non-operated leases. Initiated and recommended 59 wells to management, of which 36 were completed.

As District Geologist, originated recommendations to drill 88 wells on 22 leases, offshore Louisiana. Twenty-nine wells were completed, and 13 were temporarily abandoned. Was responsible for the company's participation in 49 joint-venture wells. Was also responsible for prospect generation, technical evaluations, and recommendations to the division geologist. Supervised six geologists and two technical support staff.

Was responsible for technical studies in a geologic lab in support of exploration and production. Generated exploratory and development prospects in upper Gulf Coast and south Texas trends onshore.
