Experience:

Geologist with 23 years of experience with major oil and gas companies. Experienced with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate oil and gas properties. Technically capable and well organized. Knowledgeable of reservoir mapping and characterization, development, log analysis, wellsite supervision, formation evaluation, and basin/trend analysis. Geographic areas worked include Texas, Canada, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and the Gulf coast. Computer skills include GeoQuest, Landmark StratWorks, IESX, GeoFrame, and 2-D/3-D Seismic Microtechnology.

Trained internal personnel and clients in software use. Taught project management, well data loading, and petrophysical programs. Worked directly with multidisciplinary teams of geoscientists, engineers, and other personnel to develop a training manual and to assist in technology transfer, workflow processes, and new software evaluation.

Performed compliance assessment at several natural gas pipelines and producing fields. Evaluated natural gas reservoirs to determine boundaries, injection and withdrawal well completion and status, reservoir leakage, lease assessment, reservoir safety, and SPCC plan. Presented expert testimony to obtain drilling and completion exceptions.

Collected and analyzed geologic data, including seismic, well logs, drilling and production reports, and structure, isopach, gravity, magnetic, and lineation maps. Used computer mapping programs to construct regional, cross-sectional, and production maps, and to identify potential Ordovician through Mississippian reservoirs in the Appalachian basin.

Drilled and completed 35 producing gas wells in the Appalachian basin. Developed Ordovician and Silurian Dolomite reservoirs in eastern Kentucky with 35 BCF gas.

Mapped reservoirs using subsurface data. Delineated stratigraphic and diagenetic pinchout and traps, and analyzed reservoir continuity to optimize well placement. Evaluated decline curves, DST, fluid measurements, and pressure buildup and drawdown curves.

Supervised open-hole, cased-hole, and mud logging in Canada, Louisiana, southern Arkansas, and east Texas. Wellsite supervision included coring, mechanical testing, cementing, perforating, and formation gas evaluation.
