Experience: Exploration and production geologist with 24 years of experience working for major and independent oil companies. Specialist in reserve evaluation, production acquisition, and divestiture. Expert in evaluating joint venture drilling opportunities and unitization. Areas worked include offshore Gulf of Mexico, onshore south Louisiana, and south and coastal Texas. Cross-trained as a geologist and geophysicist using 2-D paper lines. Former U.S. exploration manager with skills to lead team projects. Computer skills include a high proficiency in Microsoft Works, ClarisWorks, and Internet usage. Speaks German and French.

Evaluated and recommended the sale of, and participated in, joint drilling and production acquisition ventures. In excess of 150 joint ventures projects were reviewed along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf coast. Accessed, evaluated, and developed ground floor drilling opportunities for small independents.

Formed a partnership to identify, evaluate, and purchase onshore and offshore producing properties. Evaluated producing properties with secondary recovery potential. Generated three multiple well drilling programs in Liberty, Harris, and Pearsall counties, Texas. The Liberty and Harris county drilling programs were sold, drilled, and are currently producing.

Managed a full-cycle onshore and offshore exploration effort that resulted in the acquisition of 25 offshore and two onshore leases. Evaluated 305 joint drilling ventures from major oil companies and large independents. Responsible for 35 professional and support personnel.

Managed an entire south Louisiana onshore and entire Gulf of Mexico offshore exploration effort for a large independent company. Doubled its offshore acreage position, and was instrumental in the acquisition of an early, deepwater significant discovery.

Responsible for exploration and development of a major oil company's central Gulf of Mexico acreage position. Re-evaluation of a producing field resulted in the drilling of six successful development wells. Supervised 10 explorationists during all phases of exploration and development.
