Experience:

Geologist with 16 years of experience in exploration and development in a variety of geologic settings. Experienced in 2-D and 3-D geophysical interpretation, regional stratigraphic studies, and prospect generation using well control, paleontology, seismic, and gravity data. Geographic areas worked include south and central Texas, south Louisiana, Oklahoma, Utah, and the Permian basin. Proficient in Landmarks SeisWorks/3-D and the Geographix mapping system.

Screened outside submittals prior to making recommendations for purchase. Was responsible for the drilling of wells on multiple projects. This included working with the land department on drill site title and permits, working with engineering on preparing the drilling and completion programs, selecting the service companies to use, daily monitoring of drilling progress, log analysis, and making recommendations on completion, testing, and stimulation.

Worked both 2-D and 3-D seismic. Was involved in the acquisition, processing or reprocessing, special attribute work, and interpretation of the data. Planned the area to be shot and coordinated the permitting, data acquisition, and processing on two large 3-D shoots. Also participated in prospect generation and the evaluation of tracts submitted by joint venture partners in the central and western Gulf of Mexico's Plio-Pleistocene and Miocene Trends for federal and state lease sales.

Used computerized logging techniques, downhole logging tools, and sample analysis for formation, evaluation, and hydrocarbon detection at the well site. Was responsible for the correlation and subsurface mapping of various units associated with the Springfield Coal in central Illinois.
