Experience: Certified petroleum geologist with 15 years of experience as an explorationist, working for both major and independent oil companies. Generated over 60 prospects, including a giant field. Conducted extensive studies of many U.S. offshore frontier basins. Specialist in structural geology and seismic interpretation. Conducted geophysical analyses including seismic interpretation and mapping, stratigraphic modeling, velocity interpretation, depth conversion, and synthetic seismogram construction. Developed and applied innovative petroleum exploration techniques including seismic interpretation and mapping, velocity interpretation, salt structure evolution, rift basin evolution, and risk analysis. Wrote many technical reports including major sections of nine comprehensive lease sale books, reports of investigations, well proposals, summary reports, farm-out brochures, and basin framework studies. Made many presentations to management, partners, government representatives, and co-workers concerning lease sale evaluations, prospects, wells, farmouts, and various other studies. Recommendations led to many multi-million dollar decisions.

Supervised as many as nine employees while serving as acting District Geologist, and as many as six employees as team leader and lead geologist. Also worked independently on various projects as a geologist and as a geophysicist.
