Experience: Exploration geologist with 16 years of experience generating prospects as an independent operator in central and northern Louisiana and Oklahoma. Managed an exploratory program on the North Slope of Alaska, including managing the work of seven geologists. Experience includes operation of mineral leases, and technical and fiscal responsibility for drilling, evaluating, completing, and producing wells. Geographic areas worked include north and central Louisiana, north Africa, Alaska, and Oklahoma.

Generated the original prospect that led to the development of North Big Island oil field (29 MMBO) in central Louisiana. Discovered new Wilcox pools in 1981 and 1982. Prepared subsurface maps for evaluation of numerous Eocene Wilcox and Upper Cretaceous drilling prospects in central and northern Louisiana. Evaluated prospects submitted by other oil operators. Participated in many wildcat and development wells in Louisiana as operator, working interest, or overriding royalty interest owner. Operated mineral leases, including technical and fiscal responsibility for drilling, evaluating, completing, and producing wells.

Presented testimony as a qualified expert witness for Louisiana Office of Conservation public hearings. Leased prospective acreage, negotiated farmouts, handled other land work, and generated investment capital. Served as development and wellsite geologist in Anadarko basin of Oklahoma and upper Gulf coast of Louisiana. Managed the total wellsite geology program for four exploratory wells drilled in the National Petroleum Reserve on the North Slope of Alaska at a project cost of $117 million.

Supervised the exploration and development geology in the Sirte basin, Libya. Coordinated the generation of geophysical and geological data, solved specific geological problems, proposed future drilling, and monitored the collection of well site data at Saharan drill sites.
