Resume of G27

Education:

B.S., Biology/Geology, Tulane University

M.S., Geology, Tulane University

Experience:

Geoscientist with 19 years of experience working for major oil and gas companies. Highly skilled in optimizing field depletion and exploitation through the integration of 3-D seismic with well, paleo, sequence stratigraphic, and production data. Also experienced in interpreting fluvial, deltaic, and deepwater sands data, reservoir mapping, interpreting structural and stratigraphic data, and data integration and management. Geographic areas worked include offshore Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico. Computer skills include Geoquest IESX, Landmark’s SeisWorks, SynTool, TDQ, 3DVI, ZMAP, PostStack/PAL/RAVE, OpenWorks, and StratWorks; SMT’s 2d/3dPak, GOMAP, and Microsoft Office.

Generated three Mid-Miocene distal delta prospects (apx. 50 BCF) and one deep Siph Davisi prospect (30-200 BCF unrisked). Analyzed and sized shallow fluvial gas sands integrating sequence stratigraphy and 3-D seismic. Drilled two successful horizontal gas wells (each at 7 MMCFD).

Generated multiple prospects that identified over 100 BCF of unrisked reserves. Integrated 30 block 3-D seismic with field and regional production and well data. Identified and quantified reservoir characteristics within a sequence stratigraphic framework. Prepared depletion plan of existing pay sands and identified over 30 BCF remaining production.

Trained and mentored geoscience staff. Designed and participated in implementation of over 30 specific programs relating to production interpretation processes. Designed, helped implement, and lead the data maintenance team for the gulfwide geological well, log, paleo, production, seismic, and lease database.

Remapped field using 3-D seismic integrated with log and production data. Identified additional prospects delineating over 5 MMBO additional potential. Trained geoscientists in the use of proprietary and 3rd party multidisciplinary software.

Responsible for exploration of Appalachian Cretaceous and Tuscaloosa oil plays and lease holdings. Explored and generated lease sale prospects for the Miocene and Pliocene oil and gas trends in the Vermilion through South Marsh areas. Characterized reservoir and provided well site work for wells in Mesozoic trend offshore Florida. Correlated wells and mapped regional Miocene trend offshore Louisiana.
