drilling, production, and operations engineer on land, jackup, and platform

workovers, stimulation (fracture, acid, and water injection), coiled tubing,
artificial lift (rod pump, submersible, and gas-lift), open- and cased-hole
logging, and drilling rig supervision. Experienced in remote, isolated,
environmentally sensitive, severe weather, and logistically challenging
locations. Geographic areas worked include Wyoming, Texas, the Alaskan North

safety, environmental compliance, state and federal compliance, drilling plan
forward, equipment logistics, service personnel logistics and supervision,
and interfacing with rig personnel, service personnel, and office team.
Directionally drilled wells that included multiple angle (geo-steering),
multiple lateral, high deviation, H2S, and high rate of penetration (ROP)
wells with a variety of poly-crystalline diamond (PCD) and tri-cone bits. |

Was responsible for all health,
safety, and environmental activities on 12 drilling rigs in a 150-mile
radius. Performed rig safety and environmental audits to identify potential
safety and environmental hazards and prevent incidents. Conducted safety
meetings and interfaced with rig personnel.
Complied with company, state, and federal environmental and safety
laws and regulations, and ISO 140001 EMS.
Performed incident investigations and reporting. |

Participated in the successful
launch of a major drilling program offshore Russia in the Sea of
Okhotsk. Initiated a strong training
program and maintained an outstanding safety record while reducing costs from
$15MM to $8MM and decreasing the drilling curve from 35 days down to 20 to 25
days. As a manager of land rigs, was responsible for additional site prep,
land owner interaction, communications, accommodations, and water procurement.
As a field production and operations
engineer, was responsible for AFEs, developing and supervising workovers,
budgets, completions, production enhancement, fracturing, and most forms of
secondary and tertiary recovery processes. |
