Experience:

Petroleum engineer with 25 years of domestic and international experience in reservoir, production, and drilling projects. Experienced in reserve estimation, field studies, portfolio and project economics, field development, gas-lift design and operations, stimulation design, and production log analysis.  Geographic areas worked include southern California, Indonesia, and the North Sea.  Proficient in various computer programs including Production Analyst, Prophet, VIP, and PanSystem.  Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and Access (MOUS Expert Certification).  Familiar with Lotus 1-2-3, Eclipse, Exodus, FRACPRO, ARIES, OGRE, WEM, GASWAT and OILWAT, and Fortran.

As a team leader in offshore Indonesia and onshore southern California, was responsible for drilling and workover proposals, reserve estimation, budgets, depletion plans, and risked project economics.  Revised the completion design in an offshore field boosting individual well production by 60 to 120 percent, and reduced well completion costs by $80,000 through optimized wellbore use. Boosted field net production by 250 percent with an infill drilling and workover program.  Developed a special core analysis program to improve logging suite selection, response, and interpretation in high-clay content, low resistivity sands.

Improved net revenue by $2MM per year through redesigned electrical submersible completions in idle, high H2S, high water cut, and low gravity offshore wells. As the team leader and facilitator for a multi-disciplinary horizontal well applications team, conceived and supervised the drilling of the first successful onshore horizontal infill well in Ventura County, California.

As the senior reservoir engineer for the London regional office, was responsible for risked economic evaluation of all exploratory projects in the British, Irish, Dutch, and Norwegian North Sea areas.  Developed an in-house risk analysis and evaluation methodology for regional exploration applications.  As a reservoir engineer in the UK sector of the North Sea, was responsible for new wells, well-work proposals, reservoir simulation, frac treatment, acid stimulation, production log analysis, RFTs, pressure transient analysis, gas-lift optimization, and reserve estimation.
