Registered petroleum engineer with 40 years of experience with producing and service companies.  Well experienced in project management, on-site supervision, well planning, and materials procurement for domestic and international ventures.  Especially adept in adapting modern technology to specific needs in order to provide efficient and economic solutions to problems encountered while drilling deep, high pressured, hot, and highly deviated wells.  Geographical areas worked are Algeria, Venezuela, Guatemala, Pakistan, Kenya, Mexico, Colorado, Louisiana, the Gulf of Mexico, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.  Proficient in Spanish.

 

 

 

Provided project management, on-site supervision, well planning, and materials procurement services for domestic and international ventures on a consulting basis.  Work was performed over a 20-year period in remote locations, land, and offshore situations, with all types of drilling rigs.  Areas worked include the Gulf of Mexico, most of the more prolific producing basins of the continental United States, and various international locales.

 

 

 

Was responsible for overseeing a $50MM annual budget, selecting and supervising staff and operations personnel, purchase and inventory control of all tangible materials, and maximizing production while minimizing expenditures.  Also ensured that adequate and accurate records were timely presented from office and field personnel and, in turn, presented all working interest owners with current accounts.

 

 

 

Was responsible for preparation of all turnkey bids, rig selection, and supervision of drilling and completion operations.  Prepared property evaluations and prospective purchases.  Areas of operations included Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Wyoming.

 

 

 

Was responsible for supervising all drilling, completion, workover, and production operations throughout Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and Utah.

 

 

 

Supervised land and offshore rig operations.  Other duties included well-site bit and hydraulics programming, casing point selections, log analysis, tubular goods design, AFE preparation, and presentation of planned well programs.  Assignments were conducted throughout the Gulf Coast area, West Texas, Oklahoma and Wyoming for major companies and independent operators.
