Cheryl Collarini - CESI Chairman  

Chairman

Cheryl Collarini holds a BS in civil engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from the University of New Orleans. She began her career as a civil engineer with Mobil Oil and advanced through positions as operations engineer, development projects engineer, and reservoir engineer, ending her 11-year career with Mobil as a reservoir engineering supervisor. In 1985, Cheryl resigned from Mobil to begin a consulting practice. Specializing in reserve appraisal for the purpose of transactions, borrowing, and investment decision-making, Collarini Engineering grew to its present size of about 20 employees with offices in Houston and New Orleans. In 1995, she founded Collarini Energy Staffing to provide technical staff to customers who need help managing their own projects. From its Houston head-quarters, Collarini Energy Staffing recruits and places EPC and oil and gas professionals, temporary and fulltime, in positions all over the world.

     
Volker Rathmann - CESI President  

President

Volker Rathmann holds the position of President of Collarini Energy Staffing Inc. to which he brings 20 years of business and industry expertise. His experience has been focused in leadership roles for internationally oriented and growth-potential companies. Volker joined Collarini in 2001 as Vice President of Business Development with the objective of bringing the companies to their next level of excellence. Through a series of market-ing, sales, and business development campaigns, he leads a continually growing E&P staffing business in addition to managing the marketing of the collected expertise of the Collarini companies. Prior to joining Collarini, Volker held the position of Chief Financial Officer for INTEC Engineering, a provider of specialized engineering services in global frontier and deep-water projects. Before INTEC Engineering, Volker held a number of leading positions in operations, marketing, and finance within the DaimlerChrysler Corporation. During his tenure with DaimlerChrysler, he gained the experience and background of managing globally-oriented and growing firms. Volker earned a Bachelor's degree in business administration in Berlin, Germany.
